A Supportive Therapist

HOME HEALTH AIDE / CAREGIVER

Join our team and help making the difference in someone's life

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine individualized care to individual with Developmental Disabilities

  • Monitor and Report changes in patient Health status

  • Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients

  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

  • Provide health care services in Individuals' residences

  • Maintain Individuals' care records and document provided services

  • Perform domestic and household tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, etc

  • Transportation to/from grocery store, doctor appointment, family visit, day program, work, as needed


Skills:

  • Positive and patient demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills

  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards

  • Caring and compassionate personality

  • Ability to work overtime shift if needed

  • Ability for handle physical workload if needed


Requirements:

  • Authorization of Employment in the USA

  • High School Diploma

  • Valid Driver License

  • Current Auto Insurance

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate 

  • Crisis Prevention Institute 

  • Current First Aid training 

  • Experience in providing care for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

DRIVER - NON-MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION

Drive with Holding Hands Home Health Care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Non-Medical Transportation to individuals with Developmental Disabilities

  • Have a clean driving record with less than 3 points

  • Wear a mask or face covering while driving

  • Assist with passenger packages or bags as needed

  • Transportation to/from grocery store, doctor appointments, family visits, day program, work, as needed

  • Maintain On-Time Performances

  • Maintain Individuals' care records and document provided services

  • Provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism with clients and staff

  • Obey all traffic regulations, staying within the posted speed limits

  • Instruct passengers in remaining seated and secured in a comprehensible manner

  • Complete pre and post inspections of vehicle reporting any maintenance needs

  • Maintain a reliable attendance record

  • Follow all safety rules, and maintain a Safety First mentality


Skills:
